The Cattle Sheds Details

The Cattle Sheds is an 18th Century barn conversion, situated on one level. The main living area is a large barn, converted into an open plan living room and kitchen, and includes a south facing sunroom/dining room leading to a part walled south facing garden. The bathrooms and bedrooms are situated in the old Cattle Sheds which are in an L-shaped configuration, this includes, three bedrooms. Two double and one twin, two bathrooms (one ensuite), a cloak room and a well appointed utility room.

The Cattle sheds are child friendly, a high chair, and two travel cots are available on request.

We are dog friendly, and accept up to two dogs, the rear garden is enclosed. As it is on a network of footpaths, dog-walking across the fields is a pleasure without crossing a road.

Unlimited Wi-Fi covers the whole property.  

The Cattle sheds is a non-smoking property.

Bedrooms, utility room and bathrooms: These enclose the courtyard in an L-Shape.

Master Bedroom 

The Master bedroom has a wooden floor, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams with two windows. It is furnished with a king-sized bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of draws, full length mirror and chair. Decorated in modern light airy colours. The en-suite bathroom has double sinks, W/C, heated towel rail and a large shower cubicle.

Second double bedroom 

This room is carpeted with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams with two windows. It is furnished with a king-sized bed, two bed side tables, a chair and a mirror, a chest of draws and a wardrobe. Decorated in light modern airy colours.

Twin bedroom 

This room has wood floors with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams with two windows. It is furnished with two single beds, and a clothes rail. Decorated in light modern airy colours. The second bed in this room can be removed if not needed.

The living area 

The living area is a large, spacious double height room with exposed beams and solid oak flooring, two large sofas, an arm chair, and a Smart HD TV. Visitor feedback describes it as 'light and comfortable'.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is located within the open plan living area, it has a range cooker with an induction hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and sink. The kitchen is fully stocked with enough of everything to meet the needs of six guests.

Sunroom 

The sunroom leads from the living area, it is south facing with a long glazed wall to take advantage of the solar gain from the sun. the dining area is set up here with the dining table and six chairs.

Family Bathroom 

The bathroom has a large bath, with a shower, a basin, a w/c and heated towel rail.

Utility room 

The utility room has a large fridge freezer, a washer/dryer, and a sink. There is also an outside stable-door leading to the enclosed courtyard.

The Cloakroom

The cloak room as a w/c, small hand basin and coat rack.

Garden

The enclosed garden has a patioed area with a large table, parasol and six chairs which is ideal for alfresco dining. Part of the garden is covered with grass, a brick and flint wall on two sides and a fence on the two other enclose the garden to allow children and dogs to be able to roam freely. A BBQ has recently been added for guests to use.

The courtyard 

The courtyard is gravelled with parking up to 4 vehicles, the use of the courtyard is solely for the guests of the Cattle Sheds.
